Indonesia has chosen “ASAN service” model
On July 24-26, 2017, a delegation led by the State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Inam Karimov, paid a visit to the Republic of Indonesia.
During the visit, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaux Reforms of the Republic of Indonesia on cooperation in promoting progressive public services.
Inam Kerimov, the Chairman of the State Agency for Services Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Asman Abner, Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reforms of Indonesia, signed the Memorandum on improvement of public services in the Republic of Indonesia.
Speaking at a press conference on the outcomes of the signing ceremony, Inam Kerimov, the Chairman of the State Agency spoke about Azerbaijan-Indonesia friendship and partnership relations. He talked about successful reforms in the field of economic, social and state management in recent years by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the activity of “ASAN service”, which is an integral part of these reforms.
Expressing his satisfaction with the selection of the Azerbaijani model in the field of public services, Indonesian Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reforms Asman Abnur expressed his confidence in successful implementation of this model in Indonesia in the coming years.
During the visit, the delegation of the State Agency held meetings in the Indonesian Investment Coordination Council, the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights and got acquainted with the activity of the center of public services of the city of Jakarta.
The State Agency's delegation also met with Mayor of Denpasar, Bali Island, and was acquainted with public service center of city.
During the visit, the Head of the Agency for International Development Assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ashraf Shikhaliyev and employees of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Indonesia also attended the meetings.
